I was raised on a dairy farm in Fresno County and the chance to serve as Alternate Dairy Princess has been an unbelievable experience for me.  The opportunity to serve as Alternate Dairy Princess has allowed me to promote the California Dairy Industry at various events. Growing up on a dairy farm, I understand the importance of taking care of the animals and also how vital it is to understand the business side of the industry. I am currently a senior at San Joaquin Memorial High School and will graduate in June 2010 and will continue my education, but will continue to serve the dairy industry long after I leave my role as Alternate Dairy Princess.
