My family has been a part of the Northern California Dairy Industry for four generations. I am eighteen years old and plan on continuing the family tradition. I have been showing my herd of registered Holsteins and Milking Shorthorns at fairs and competing in judging contests since I was eight years old. I have also been active in 4-H, FFA, and the Junior Holstein Association. I am preparing for a career in agriculture legislative policies, emphasizing on the dairy industry, at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, where I am majoring in Agriculture Communications and Dairy Science. Growing up in the dairy industry has given me a great passion and true love for this industry. I hope that my term served as alternate dairy princess will leave a lasting positive impact on the industry that has been such an influential part of my life. As District 3 First Alternate Dairy Princess I will be representing Sonoma, Marin, Napa, Lake, and Mendocino Counties.
