Kerilyn
Hello, my name is Kerilyn Ambrosini. I was born and raised in the small dairy town of Ferndale, California. I have spent my life around the agriculture industry. The Ambrosini Family here has, in the past, owned and operated two ranches and a dairy since 1898. My close family currently owns a ranch, which is where I grew up.

Being a senior at Ferndale High, I am very busy. Along with my dairy princess duties, I am the Associated Student Body President of FHS, a North Coast regional officer and I work two jobs at locally owned restaurants.

My plans for after high school include hopes for Cal Poly with a major in BioResource and Ag Engineering and a minor in mathematics and rangeland resources.  The goal of my studies is to help the ranchers and dairymen utilize their land. A dairy or ranch contains various resources that are not normally used. For instance, it holds wind, water and solar power. My aspiration is to make it more feasible for the farmer to use all of these golden renewable resources. I believe that if I am able to do this, the farmers could enable themselves to be environmentally and economically sustainable, which would greatly benefit all.
