Karessa

I am currently a student at Modesto Junior College where I am studying Agriculture Communications with a focus in the dairy industry. I did not get the chance to grow up on a dairy farm, but my dearest friend’s family owns and operates a dairy farm in the local area and I have been able to work closely with the family over the years by raising and showing dairy cattle.  At this time I own my own small herd of dairy cattle and have spent a lot of time on the road showing at dairy cattle shows.  My love for the dairy industry inspired me to be a part of the Dairy Princess Program and this experience has been much more fun and rewarding that I imagined. I love the opportunity to work with dairy families in California as well as serve as a spokesperson for California’s dairy industry.
