My name is Erica Mello and I have the honor of reigning as the District 6 Dairy Princess. I grew up in Los Banos where I was raised on a Holstein dairy farm. I started showing Holsteins at age six and from there my passion only grew. I was an active member of both 4-H and FFA and am proud to say I was the FFA Treasurer, FFA President, and the 2009 FFA Sweetheart. While in FFA I also added a few Jersey's into my herd and developed a love for them also. Growing up I also made time for a few other passions, volleyball, basketball, and being active in various other clubs. My life experiences have made me the person I am today...my leadership, responsibility, and passion for the dairy industry are a few of the attributes I will use to be the best Dairy Princess I can!
