I am currently a senior at Arcata High School where I am active in many organizations and spend most of my time raising many different animals to show at local fairs.  I enjoy the opportunity to work with young children in my local area and teach them about the importance of the dairy industry in our county, but also want to show them the opportunities available to all young children by becoming active members of local 4-H clubs.  The time that I serve as District 1 Second Alternate has given me a chance to be a part of the vital dairy industry in my local area and am proud to serve as a spokesperson for the dairy industry.
