This has been a stressful month but also an exciting one!
This has been a stressful month but also an exciting one! I attended the District Meeting for the California Milk Advisory Board where I was asked to give an impromptu speech about my activities. Thank goodness for the communications classes at training week in Modesto! I took a newborn calf to a classroom. The calf was very strong and took off running across the school grounds. I think I will bring a halter next time!!!
I will have attended three Christmas parades by the end of this week. It rained at the Hanford parade; the wind blew and we had an equipment malfunction at the Lemoore parade; and rain is predicted for Thursday's parade at Corcoran. After I complete finals next week, I plan to finish my classroom presentation. Letters have been sent to all of the schools with the hope that they will allow me to make classroom presentations in January.
Also this week, I will be attending the Kings County Dairywomen's Christmas luncheon. I am looking forward to good food, fellowship and lots of Christmas cookies!
Have a blessed Christmas everyone!
