Although events for dairy princesses have slowed down, we are still keeping busy here in District 1. Just last night, Rachel Phillips and I attended a local fundraiser and served ice cream for Humboldt Creamery. It was quite an experience because this event was not for dairymen. Only a handful of people knew who we were and what we did. It was a perfect event for us to really step out of our comfort zone and convey our purpose to the non-agricultural part of our area.

All is well in school for me. College and scholarship applications are approaching faster than I thought and homecoming events start this week, so I am extremely busy. Hope everyone is doing well!
