As the school year is off to a great start...
As the school year is off to a great start, and the chaotic schedule of attending college classes has begun, the thing that I am most looking forward to is giving in-class presentations as the District 9 Dairy Princess. I am currently putting the last minute touches on my presentation. I have made poster boards that have lots of pictures to give the students an idea of what life on the dairy is like. I know the first presentation I give is going to be nerve racking but once I start speaking, I know everything will go great. I am most excited for teaching the younger kids as I feel like I connect with them better. However, I am not forgetting the importance of teaching junior high and high school students about the importance of eating healthy and drinking dairy products as well. There are a few dinners that I am also attending in these next few weeks. I will also be making an appearance in the Corcoran Cotton Parade. I can’t wait for all of these events to come!!
