My summer has been filled with cows, milk, cheese, and fellow lovers of the dairy industry.
Since my last post, I have wrapped up the summer with the California State Fair Dairy Show. My college schedule allowed me to be in Sacramento for 2 days. On Friday I was able to be ringside to the Holstein show where I was able to pass out ribbons and awards. After the show that evening I, along with fellow dairy princesses, passed out cheese and promoted the dairy industry. Saturday was filled with watching the Jersey and Brown Swiss shows and visiting the CMAB booth. State Fair was a great opportunity to meet with public and work with other fellow dairy princesses to promote the Real California Milk.
As we move into fall my life as Dairy Princess slows down a bit. The fairs and shows are over for now and I will busy myself with meetings, appearances, and getting ready for the annual CMAB meeting in November. Although my activities might slow down a bit, I will still be busy promoting the dairy industry to anyone that will listen...remember to buy products that carry the Real California Milk Seal.
