As the school season is coming to an end with Christmas break...

As the school season is coming to an end with Christmas break, I have been plenty busy studying for finals while drinking my chocolate milk. Since my last post I have only been to one dairy princess event, but it was wonderful. I attended the Los Banos Christmas Parade with my alternate Karessa Mann and Miss Vitality Vanessa Martins. It was a very good experience; we road in a horse and buggy and all the little kids loved the horse and the princesses. We will be in the Hilmar Christmas Parade this weekend and I am very excited to see how the kids react. They love seeing the princesses.

The fall season has brought a little slower pace in my life as District 6 Dairy Princess.  I have to admit, I have still been pretty busy, but since the show season has come to a stop there has been a lot less running from barn to barn with my crown on.  Awhile back, I attended the Wine and Cheese Festival in Riverbank where I was able to visit with the visitors of the festival as they came by the CA Milk Advisory Board booth.  At this event I was able to hand out tons of literature on the dairy industry, talk with children and adults about the importance of milk and dairy products in th

My summer has been filled with cows, milk, cheese, and fellow lovers of the dairy industry.

Since my last post, I have wrapped up the summer with the California State Fair Dairy Show.  My college schedule allowed me to be in Sacramento for 2 days.  On Friday I was able to be ringside to the Holstein show where I was able to pass out ribbons and awards.  After the show that evening I, along with fellow dairy princesses, passed out cheese and promoted the dairy industry.  Saturday was filled with watching the Jersey and Brown Swiss shows and visiting the CMAB booth.  State Fair was a great opportunity to meet with public and work with other fellow dairy princesses to promote th
