As 2009 closes, it's crazy to think that my reign as Dairy Princess is half way over!

Hello all,

As 2009 closes, it's crazy to think that my reign as Dairy Princess is half way over! Right now, I am preparing for finals, which are only a week away for CSU Fresno; when they are over it will be sigh of relief and the beginning of a new spring semester. I'm super excited for the January workshop for the princesses because it will be nice to catch up with other girls, since it has been so long since state fair.

Busy, busy, busy is the name of the game this month.

Busy, busy, busy is the name of the game this month. In September I attended the Madera District Fair where Michelle and I handed out ribbons to the exhibitors. It was a fun show because there were lots of 4-H and FFA members showing and the competition was tough. In a few days the Big Fresno Fair will begin. I am so excited because it's a really big show and it will be great to get the information out to the public about drinking milk and eating dairy products with the Real California Milk seal!

District 8 covers Fresno and Madera counties in California

My name is Kelsey Blagg and I am the District 8 Dairy Princess. District 8 covers Fresno and Madera counties in California. I currently attend CSU Fresno and major in Dairy Science and Ag Business and am a student employee at the CSU Fresno Dairy. I am proud to have been selected as the District 8 Dairy Princess since this is the first year of the return of a District 8 Dairy Princess in 25 years. I learned about the District 8 contest from Callie Martin, the District 8 Princess coordinator.
